The missing links: qualitative research to understand sexual relationships where phylogenetic links are missing

a) To describe the sexual relationships and partnership histories of female RCCS participants who are part of these incomplete phylogenetic networks which are missing men. We will use sexual history timelines asking participants about sexual partnerships to characterize potential undiagnosed men living with HIV.

b) To compare data from these individuals with data from other female RCCS participants living with HIV who are part of complete phylogenetic networks including male partners.

Preventing repeat adolescent pregnancy in rural Southwestern Uganda

The overall objective of this project is to prevent repeat adolescent pregnancy in rural Southwestern Uganda through exploring the underlying risk factors and piloting a targeted adolescent-friendly and age-appropriate intervention.
Specific project objectives include:
1. To assess the risks and protective factors for repeat adolescent pregnancy;
2. To co-create and pilot an intervention to prevent repeat adolescent pregnancies;
3. To evaluate feasibility, acceptability, costs and short-term effectiveness of the pilot intervention.
