Single High-dose Ambisome to Reduce Excess Mortality from Cryptococcal Meningitis

-Perform a situational analysis to ascertain the current status of cryptococcal meningitis management in Uganda and develop collaborative strategies using the national and facility level surveys.
-Engage stakeholders to integrate short-course regimens into national treatment guidelines and facilitate access to antifungal drugs.
-Train healthcare workers to deliver high quality care for HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis using the short-course regimens and other nationally recommended CM treatment regimens.
-Increase patient and community awareness of HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis and encourage health-seeking behaviours.
