Improving Kidney- Saving and Continence Management Services for Children with Spina Bifida in Uganda

The long-term aim of this study is to improve quality of life of children with Spina Bifida through improved continence management in Uganda.
The specific objectives of the study are to:
i. Identify barriers in the implementation and uptake of kidney saving- and continence management services for children with Spina Bifida in Uganda.
ii. To co-develop an intervention model to improve the implementation of kidney saving- and continence management services for children with Spina Bifida in Uganda; both at family and service delivery level including disability stakeholders.
iii. Pilot and test the feasibility and acceptability of the intervention model including CIC protocols and tools for kidney saving- and continence management service of the children with Spina Bifida.
