General objective
1. To identify how regulatory controls on alcohol production and distribution can be improved and effectively implemented in Sub-Saharan Africa to reduce the availability of cheap, single-use products and related harms
2. To explore contextual factors important for the transferability of findings to other Sub-Saharan countries, to inform alcohol policy development and implementation across the region.
Specific objectives
1. To identify the adoption and formulation of the bans, what mechanisms for implementation were proposed and put in place, how the bans were enforced in practice, as well as stakeholder and public perceptions of, and explanations for, intended and unintended consequences of the bans.
2. To explore contextual factors important for the transferability of findings to other Sub-Saharan countries, to inform alcohol policy development and implementation across the region.

Secondary objectives:
(i) To use machine learning and artificial intelligence modelling to analyze, and profile sub-populations that are able to pay for PrEP in Kampala.
(ii) To identify the most likely favorable pricing for PrEP
(iii) To validate the variables identified as predictors for PrEP payment from dataset analyses through focus group discussions.

Expand upon our adapted unbiased Nanopore sequencing classification platform while verifying the feasibility of classification of pediatric solid tumors using GEP. Hypothesis: Unbiased Nanopore sequencing can be implemented and can accurately classify pediatric cancer in low and middle income countries,Establish technical and human resources needed to carry out local, real-time sequencing on Nanopore platforms through optimizing existing supply chains in collaboration with Nanopore and establishing standardized virtual and in-person training of local research, laboratory, and information technology support.,Optimize and validate, within the context of use in low and middle income countries, the efficacy unbiased Nanopore sequencing platform for pediatric cancer classification after integrating a Cloud-based computational analysis pipeline. Hypothesis: Using a Cloud-based unbiased Nanopore sequencing approach, clinical laboratories in LMIC can perform sequencing with Cloud based analytical support, accurately classify pediatric cancer diagnosis and genomic subtypes.,To determine the feasibility of implementing and utilizing Nanopore sequencing for classification of pediatric malignancies, as determined by technical quality, data management, and classification accuracy.,
