General Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of PPFP on FP uptake among AGYW (10-24 years) in the Busoga sub-region. This information will assist FP policymakers, programmers, and implementers in Uganda to thoroughly and critically examine the existing PPFP service delivery systems and processes and optimize investments for improved access and use of FP among AGYW. Specific Objectives The specific objectives will be under three sub-studies: Specific Objective I (Sub-study I) i. To synthesize the existing evidence on PPFP among AGYW (10-24 years) in Uganda. To determine the level of PPFP uptake among AGYW aged 10-24 years in Uganda between 2015 and 2025, by conducting a meta-analysis of the available evidence ii. To assess the existence of inequities in the level of PPFP uptake among AGYW 10-24 years in Uganda, using the available evidence. iii. To synthesize the existing evidence on the factors related to PPFP uptake among AGYW aged 10-24 years in Uganda Specific Objective II (Sub-study II) To explore the PPFP literacy needs, preferences, concerns and experiences of AGYW in the Busoga sub-region i. To explore the PPFP literacy needs of AGYW in the Busoga sub-region. ii. To find out preferences and concerns about PPFP literacy among AGYW in the Busoga sub-region. iii. To examine PPFP literacy experiences of AGYW in the Busoga sub-region.
